Frequently Asked Questions

1) How do I book a Tour?

We want to make the booking procedure as simple as possible. With our Calendar, you can see in real-time if we are available on the day(s) of your choice.

If we are available, you just have to fill the form at the bottom of this page and we'll contact you to confirm your booking.

If we are already booked on the day(s) of your choice, you can check our links and contact one of the guides we recommend.


2) Is the Tour confirmed once I fill the form?

No, there is just one more step. We'll contact you to make sure there is no mistake or misunderstanding and we'll send you a paypal invoice for a EU100 deposit. The Tour is only confirmed once you pay the deposit (you can pay a paypal invoice with your credit card even if you don't have a paypal account).


3) What is your cancellation policy?

Once again, we want it to be simple. No questions asked! If you cancel your booking more than 30 days before your Tour, you will get a full refund of your deposit.

If you cancel less than 30 days before your Tour, we will keep the deposit but you will NOT have to pay the balance, even if you cancel without notice.


4) How do I pay for the Tour?

You will pay a EU100 deposit via paypal and you will settle the balance in cash (euros) or credit card (with a chip) at the end of your Tour. Upon request, you can pay the balance by wire transfer (at least 15 days before your Tour).


5) Can you find another couple/family who would share the Tour with me in order to split the cost?

No, it is not possible. Our transport license only allows us one booking per Tour. All our Tours are private (you and your party only, up to 7 passengers) and we will adjust the Tour to your pace and interests.


6) Can I do a full-day Tour from Paris?

Yes, if it's on a weekday (Mon. to Fri.). You can ride The 6:20 am train from Paris to Bayeux, we will meet you upon arrival in Bayeux (8:46 am) and we'll end the Tour in Bayeux where you will ride the 6:35 pm train back to Paris (arrival: 8:45 pm).


7) Can you book the trains and hotels for me?

No, we will help you and provide links if requested but we are not travel agents.


8) What is the weather like in Normandy?

The weather is totally unpredictable in Normandy. You should hope for the best but always be prepared for the worst. Make sure to dress in layers, bring a windbreaker jacket and good walking shoes. We will provide umbrellas if needed.


9) Can I vist a museum during the Tour?

Yes, If you want to! Entrance fees are not included in our prices but we'll get you a discount in most museums. Please note that we do not accompany guests in Museums.


10) Where will we stop for lunch?

We will make suggestions and you will decide. We can make a quick sandwich stop, have a main course in a bistro or enjoy a proper Norman lunch.
